Welcome to Borders Talking Newspaper’s home on the World Wide Web, here you can listen to our audio newspaper and find out about the organisation that is responsible for making it.

The Borders Talking Newspaper is a free local weekly news and information service for anyone who cannot see to read or cannot hold our local newspapers.

We produce a weekly 90 minute audio-news programme that is streamed worldwide over the internet and sent free to listeners.

Our primary aim is to serve the needs of people within our local community. We make our audio output available here so that all who are interested may use the service.

Talking Newspapers are totally reliant on the generosity of their supporters to keep the service going and volunteers to keep producing (please see the donations and volunteering pages for more information).

The Borders Talking Newspaper Association is a fully recognised Scottish Charity and part of both Scottish and UK-wide Talking Newspaper networks.
